Compassionate Hearts Assisting, Rebuilding, Instructing and Serving is the only faith-based HIV organization in Cincinnati. It provides state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS and abstinence services, and offers HIV testing at various sites throughout the city as well as walk-in testing by appointment on Thursdays and Fridays at their main office at 821 Bank Street. HIV Care Service Organizations
STOP AIDS provides medical care and supportive services to 1000+ HIV clients. STOP AIDS also provides free testing for all individuals and encourages public prevention education and reduction of stereotypes.
Caracole provides direct care and support services, and has provided housing for over 1,100 homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Cincinnati Health Network
The Cincinnati Health Network coordinates services and programs for the medically underserved and special population groups, including the chronically homeless.
The Ohio Department of Health HIV Care Services promotes health and access to care for Ohioans with HIV, their families, and offers case management agencies, in every county, that provide medical treatment and programs. The Ohio HIV Drug Assistance Program provides medications to fight HIV and to treat HIV-related conditions.
EPIP services include risk assessment, anonymous HIV antibody testing, pre and post testing counseling, case management, client education, staff training, advocacy and system development.
The IDC is a nationally recognized Center of Excellence for HIV care and is the only center in the region that provides a comprehensive program of primary and consultative care for HIV patients.
